Andersson Bell blurs the line between illusion and reality with this trompe l'œil patchwork skirt, where a photorealistic print of layered denim panels, worn creases, and antiqued hardware is rendered across a structured mid-length silhouette. The heavily distressed, multi-tonal wash — ranging from deep indigo to sun-bleached grey — lends the piece a lived-in authenticity that plays against its inherently conceptual construction.
