A signature expression of Junya Watanabe's obsessive approach to construction, these slim-cut jeans layer fragments of herringbone, houndstooth, and woven check fabrics across a dark raw indigo base — each patch intentionally frayed at its edges to blur the boundary between repair and reinvention. The result is a garment that wears its own making process as decoration, referencing traditional Japanese boro textile mending while remaining emphatically contemporary. Styled best with minimal separates, they carry enough visual weight to anchor an entire look on their own.
