A study in sacai's signature deconstruction, this midi skirt layers suiting fabric against lustrous nylon twill to create a piece that is simultaneously tailored and fluid. The juxtaposition of matte wool-like suiting against a shinier nylon ground gives the silhouette a layered, multi-dimensional quality, while deep knife pleats lend movement and architectural interest to every step. Utility detailing drawn from workwear vocabulary grounds the design, making it as compelling styled with a crisp shirt as it is with a relaxed knit.
